She used to be my kitty, with a love for everything and everyone, but over the years, she seems to have evolved into a one person cat. Now, a bitter old lady, she loves my husband to no end, while wanting nothing to do with anyone else. In fact, when called out to or touched by someone other, she will actually look offended. I remind her, often, that she was once my cat, that I raised her with love. One can almost see the little squiggly “hate fumes” emanating out of her head in response. We lerve her so.
Old kitty,
Rude kitty,
Little ball of hate.
Angry kitty,
Cranky kitty,
Grr Grr Grr.
Happy Caturday!

Indeed, she does… and a very snooty one, at that.

ahhh cats have a strong personality! I have a male and a female, they both are sweet with us, but the male comes often to give me a belly massage! And if i push him out he comes back but yet, she is the most sweet of both of them. They can change, and then my song will too: Baby you used to love me but now you want to throw me out of the house, ha ha, I hope this is NOT the song anyway!

They really do. We have 3 females here, and they all have very different personalities. I usually post the youngest one, and this is the first time on this blog that I have posted one of the older girls. I will try and post the last one for an upcoming Caturday. They do change. Little Miss Rude-Pants used to be such a love. She used to run up to everyone, and even every animal. Now, she is the exact opposite. She only loves my husband now. Our other older girl used to be anti-social, and now she is the pushiest of them all for attention. Their song will depend on their behavior. hahahaa 😉 Aw, they know I’m full of empty threats. They get away with so much. They know they rule the house.

She looks too perfect. I am suspicious. Did you photoshop her beautiful whiskers? Well, did ya?!:P

If I were to photoshop her, I would only add the little hate fumes rising up from her head. heehee She is quite lovely. Almost everyone who sees her wants to scoop her up or pet her, but she’ll have nothing to do with it. Such a rude little creature. 😉

Such a delicate beauty! How privileged you must feel to be allowed to clean up after her and provide food for her. I am sure she will agree, you’re a lucky woman 🙂
How wonderful it is to have these personalities to share our homes with. I thought Rufus was a tad lonely so we have adopted a 10 month old kitten to keep him company. I don’t know if thankful is the right word to describe his feelings just yet.

I am sure that she told you to write that! hahaha
They all have very distinct personalities. That is the same age as our Amelia. She is HUGE now. If she gets any bigger, we will have to bring her to the vet on a leash and harness, instead of in the kitty carrier. How exciting! I want to see photos! One of our girls took to our new arrival within a couple of days. The other one, a few weeks, and even now, she sometimes looks at me like, “How could you!?” even though she is also now fond of the youngster.

I will have to take some. They seem to know when the camera is out and stop in their tracks and cease to be interesting. The little kitten has a funny disposition. It must be a Siamese thing, she is really outgoing. Rufus is disgusted with her; she forever wants to play with him and she bathes him to the point he is soaking wet – eeew!

I have the same problem. It’s as if they are saying, “Excuse me? Why are you interrupting?” Either that, or I get the wide-eyed stare. The one that says, “Camera strap! WANT!”
Hee-hee. How cute and gross! Amelia is going to break our seniors. They are essentially her toys. Because of this, we’ve been considering getting another kitten to not only give them a break, but also so that she will still have a playmate when their time comes to pass.

And this is how the cat hoarding begins….but then again, kittens playing together are wonderful!

I know, I know! 3 should be enough! It’s just so sad to see Amelia not having a playmate that can keep up with her. Our older girls barely move through the course of the day. They sort of resemble slugs at this point in their life.

I’ve seen clips of that on the tele before! It’s wonderful! I can’t imagine having to dust all of that though! Isn’t that sad? I see something fun and wonderful, and the second thought in my mind on it would be, “Egadz that would be a dusting nightmare!”

It’s just proof that you were never suited to live without servants. It’s hell to be poor and hired out. I find dusting cramps my domestic goddess routine as well.

I am in complete agreement. One would think that our recent fluffy addition would take care of the dust for us, but I find that she seems to create more than she picks up.

I rarely have to wash any of the kitties. On the rare moment that I have to, I fear for my safety! Yes, they’re quite good at the silent treatment, which is sometimes accompanied by what I can only describe as the glare of go to hell.
