Captures from surviving footage of Billie Dove’s hair screen test from The Love Mart (1927), considered to be a lost film. I love coming across goodies like this. While it’s fairly commonplace now to see outtakes and snippets regarding the “making of” in modern films, it’s not footage that’s common to find when it comes to films of past. It took me a bit to find what I suspect was the original post of these images, but I believe it is here.

There are so many wonderful photos of her out there. It’s hard to refrain from posting more.
I actually wasn’t aware of the site until just recently. I don’t know how I missed it before! I’m glad you enjoyed it too. 🙂

I actually ended up deleting my Davy Jones blog. It was censored and blocked all to frell within minutes of posting it. I am going to hold myself back from the long post of cranky about it.
You are so grabby. Can’t you enjoy without absconding with? Do I need to slap your hands? 😉
